Letter from Gwennie Wilkes Dear Friends, Well, Well, it’s got to be the weather again, especially at this time of the year, when we are all looking for some sunshine. We are having flurries of snow and some rain which can turn to ice when the temperatures get really low. This is the time when we hear of people having falls and broken bones. We remember all those friends who have been admitted to hospital; not just for broken bones but for operations. Looking at our gardens already the snowdrops are popping their little white heads through the ground and the purple and yellow crocuses are beautiful. I am grateful to all our Church friends who haven given lifts to those of us who are too old now to walk too far and we are always ready to share the good will which we are given. There have been such a lot of disasters in different parts of the world at this time with earthquakes, flooding and forest fires. But it doesn’t do to dwell on these things, I must look for news that is more pleasant. Best Wishes to all of our Church friends and special thoughts to all who are ill at this time. God Bless you all with Love Gwennie Wilkes
